Lateral Epicondylitis – “Tennis Elbow” :
- Description: This condition involves inflammation of the tendons on the outer side of the elbow, typically due to repetitive wrist and arm motion.
- Symptoms: Pain and tenderness on the outer part of the elbow, worsened with gripping or lifting.
- Treatment: Conservative measures include rest, ice, physical therapy, and the use of a brace. In severe cases, corticosteroid injections or, rarely, surgery may be considered.
Medial Epicondylitis – “Golfer’s Elbow” :
